No new COVID-19 cases in province

The Brandon Sun - 7/10/2020

For the eighth day in a row, Manitoba has not recorded any new cases of COVID-19.

As a result, the total number of lab-confirmed positive and probable positive cases in Manitoba remains at 325, public health officials reported Wednesday.

No one is being treated in hospital for the virus. There are now only six active cases in the province, while 312 people have recovered from COVID-19.

An additional 614 laboratory tests were performed on Tuesday, bringing the total number of tests performed since early February to 67,618.

Meanwhile, the province is inviting public feedback on the proposed personal care home visitation shelters, including design requirements related to physical distancing protocols, personal protective equipment, frequency of use and ways to support quality visits.
