The cases were sold nationwide. It is not known how many were sold in New Jersey.

Botulism is a serious and potentially fatal form of food poisoning from the bacteria Clostridium botulinum. Symptoms include general weakness, dizziness, double vision, trouble with speaking or swallowing, difficulty breathing, abdominal distension and constipation.

There have been no reports of illness at this time. Customers who have the products can return them to their place of purchase for a full refund.

The products were showing signs of separation in the warehouse, according to Kraft Heinz representative Lynne Galia, spurring the company to recall and begin an immediate investigation."We believe the risk for C. botulinum is very low, however out of an abundance of caution, we took this action. To reiterate, there have been no consumer complaints or reports of illness related to this issue to date," Galia said.
