BRIEF: Program at North Allegheny to address dangers teens face from vaping

March 27--The North Allegheny School District is playing host to a seminar on the dangers vaping poses to teenagers on April 4 at the intermediate high school.

The program will focus on the use of e-cigarettes and other vaping devices among teenagers, along with the risks these products pose to adolescent health and development.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention notes that the us vaping devices has increased by 900 percent between 2011 and 2015.

The free program is aimed at students in grades 6 to 12 and their parents.

Register online for the event, which will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at North Allegheny Intermediate School, 350 Cumberland Road, McCandless .
