Public Health Week begins Mon.

To ensure everyone has a chance at a long and healthy life, we must tackle the underlying causes of poor health and disease risk.

During National Public Health Week, which begins April 3, the Livingston County Department of Health will disseminate Healthiest Nation National Public Health Week fact sheets and social media posts to encourage key stakeholders that improving the health of Livingston County means ensuring conditions where everyone has an opportunity to be healthy.

The Department of Health is partnering with Genesee Valley Health Partnership and UR Medicine/Noyes Health to celebrate Public Health Week. The State of the County Health Report 2016 will be presented April 4 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Noyes Health Conference Center, Dansville.
