Cheese Nips recalled because they may contain pieces of yellow plastic

Mondel\u0113z Global LLC announced today a voluntary recall of 11-ounce boxes of Nabisco Cheese Nips.

According to the Federal Food and Drug Administration, the crackers may be contaminated with “small food-grade yellow plastic pieces from a dough scraper that was incorporated into the production process of a small amount of product. The company became aware of this issue when yellow plastic pieces were noticed on the manufacturing equipment.”

The boxes of Cheese Nips have best if used by dates of May 18-20, 2020. The UPC code is 0 44000 03453 5.

According to the FDA there have been no reports of illness or injury.
